Nothing says Big Island like dramatic black lava and gorgeous beaches! Thanks James Rubio for these beautiful photos! This beautiful couple wanted a luxurious event at a reasonable price! That’s why they came to us! They stayed at the beautiful Four Seasons Hualalai and were able to get ready there and take some photos on site, but they saved thousands by contacting us and hosting the wedding at a near by public beach instead of the hotel. They still had all the privacy and beauty they would have had at the hotel, just without the high price! Perfection!
David and Yolanda came all the way from Florida to get married on the beach in Hawaii so I knew they would want a beach that would be very different from the ones they came from. That’s why I chose this secret beach location for them where they could be surrounded by trees, black lava and the blue hawaiian waters. It was the perfect spot for just the two of them to say their I dos in a place they have always dreamed of coming. It just really shows you that Hawaii’s Big Island isn’t just another beach location but has its own unique landscape and vibrant personality that appeals even to those who live by another sea.
After seeing so many creative uses of ribbons, we have been waiting for the right couple to come along that would really enjoy the very playful look of colored ribbons for their wedding decor! Shawn and Kristina and their three kids were the perfect fit! We had such a blast selecting the colors and crafting these custom ribbon creations (thanks to all my incredible girl friends who helped cut and tie the hundreds of stands!). Thank you Toby Hoogs Photography associate, Todd Bucyna, for capturing the fun, sweetness and energy of this couple and their unique decor in these beautiful shots! www.tobyhoogs.com
